John Noel
Artistic Director
John started acting at age 9 and began performing professionally at age 15. Born and raised in Connecticut, John was accepted to The Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, and then The Hartford Conservatory. He quickly moved down to New York to pursue his passion further. John has been in numerous short films since then, including 'Ginger' (which won the Diamond Award at the California Film Awards). He's been on national TV twice, once on an episode of the Discovery ID show 'Elder Skelter' and also on the Travel Ch. original show 'Monumental Mysteries', and has had several theatrical performances in New York as well.

Alex Simmons
Executive Director
A Brooklyn native, Alex caught the acting bug at the young age of 6, playing Young Pip in the Heights Players stage adaptation of "Great Expectations". Alex continued his passion for theater and acting into college, receiving his undergraduate degree in acting at Adelphi University. Since completing school, Alex has performed at many theater venues in NYC, including Theater for a New City, The Players Theater, American Theater of Actors, the West End Theater, and others. Sharing the passion for collaboration and developing new work, Alex is the co-founder of Film Repertory Group.
Justin Rogers
Resident Director
Justin has been directing films for 6 years. Vermont-born but having grown up in rural Virginia, he moved to Ohio to attend film school at OU where he received his degree. His directing credits include a feature film, several shorts, and two winning entries in OU's annual 48-Hour Film Competition. He has also worked for NBCUniversal and currently works for Acerbic Film & Entertainment (NYC) as chief videographer and video editor. Justin is thrilled to be part of the FRG team and looks forward to the future with them.
Josh Ries
Resident Cinematographer
Josh is an Ohio native with a degree in Digital Media and Film from Ohio University. He has worked on the West Coast in Los Angeles with Dick Clark Productions and now resides in New York City. He has worked as Director of Photography on a feature film, award-winning short films, and music videos. He currently works at Acerbic Film and Entertainment.
Sarah Misch
Social Media Coordinator/Producer/Resident "Set Queen"
Sarah Misch is a Las Vegas native turned New York based performer. Though she's a theatre-trained actor, Sarah has thoroughly enjoyed learning all about indie filmmaking on the job by working both behind and in front of the camera with Film Repertory Group. Favorite FRG projects include the short film "Friday Night" (Lily), the comedic sketch, "CASTING: Paid Protesters" (Female Protesters), and the original horror short, "Corpse Pose" (Avril) which Sarah both starred in and produced. In addition to serving as FRG's Social Media Coordinator, Sarah is a company member with Improbable Stage, a movement-based theatre ensemble.
